Where do I take my leftover paint?

I was out in the garage over the weekend, cleaning up a few things and I noticed some spare paint cans and two jerry cans with broken nozzles. I've hesitated to do anything with these, as I know there's a specific place they need to go. Definitely not into my City of Vancouver garbage bin.

In case you encounter the same challenges, here's some information that will probably help!

Major categories such as Household Paints, Flammable Liquids, Domestic Pesticides and Gasoline need to find their way to a Produce Care facility!

Examples include: primers, latex, acrylic paint, aerosol containers, methanol, turpentine, and much more.

Best of all, it's totally free.  The money actually comes from the Eco Fees to pay at stores like Canadian Tire, Home Depot, RONA or wherever you buy your home improvement stuff.
(It's a bummer because Eco Fees are subject to HST, but here's a way to get your dollar's worth!)

As we always say about our gutter and window cleaning services, let's reuse whenever possible. Which is possible at Produce Care depots! You can actually pop by and take leftover paint others have dropped off.
